The Associate Actuarial Analyst is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in protecting Citi's assets and continuity of business from fortuitous loss, through risk analysis/financing, placement and administration of property/casualty insurance programs, captive insurance company management
  • Participates in the establishment and monitoring of credit/political risks standards, review and approval of credit/political risk insurance placements and product programs
  • Contributes to insurance claims management, loss engineering and risk control.
  • Participates in risk management advisory services to business units, approval/monitoring of local insurance purchasing, local insurers and insurance brokers
  • Performs complex regulatory analysis in order to monitor regulations and support Insurance business operations in accordance to corporate agency regulations or any other guidelines those are imposed on the Insurance business.
  • Assists with the analysis and interpretation of regulatory compliance requirements especially as relates to insurance companies.
  • Assess compliance of underwriting rules, guidelines, procedures, and programs on Insurance business from a regulatory standpoint.
  • Manages and coordinates all regulatory internal and external audits pertaining to Insurance business.
  • Prepares company’s response to regulatory changes and following up with appropriate areas to ensure required changes are implemented.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Required: Ability to communicate effectively to influence people; Knowledge on insurance regulations, financial markets and managing legal issues. Preferred: Knowledge on NBFC would be preferred. Drive, passion and focus to over-deliver on expectations;
Education:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Pasante/titulado en actuaría

Experiencia en seguros, con conocimientos básicos en materia de pensiones derivadas de la seguridad social.

Conocimientos en cálculo actuarial de seguro de vida y pensiones.

Capacidad de análisis.

Perfil enfocado a proponer mejoras en el ámbito de sus actividades.

Nivel intermedio en paquetería Office.

Dinámico(a), concreto(a) y con capacidad de negociación.
