The Risk Reporting Sr Officer II is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Recognized subject matter expert within one area. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Is an acknowledged authority both within and outside area of expertise. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication is typically required. Provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions. Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas. Significant impact on a function and/or the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures. Roles
  • Assists in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
  • Responsibilities include establishing and implementing policy and strategy for the Business.
  • Liaises with all aspects of lending including Strategy, Product, Credit Risk Management, Collections, Underwriting, Independent Risk, and others to fulfill the mission of managing risk.
  • Leads and perform analytics that support risk policies and strategies.
  • Works closely with key partners to support and advance their projects being developed.
  • Supports other projects within UCAR on behalf of the DM space.
  • Manages and develop staff.
  • Responsible for setting technical direction of technical areas that are key to the business. Decisions made at this level will make a contribution to determining technical developments and the general technical strategy for the whole technical area.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years relevant experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
