The Senior Technical Lead is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processes

  • Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems

  • Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation

  • Assume leadership of technical teams attached to the key projects. Attract, upgrade, and develop strong technical talent and build a strong technical team.

  • Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results.

  • Engage with senior stakeholders across the Liquidity Measurement System programs and product areas.

  • Evangelize and drive modern architectural and governance methodologies and influence buy in from a diverse set of key stakeholders.

  • Build collaborative working relationships with technology, business, and operational partners in both a regional and global setting.

  • Manage the organization to agreed-upon financial and headcount targets and provide metric-driven measurable competitive advantage.

  • As a responsible technology leader, you will have an acute sense of Risk and Control elements of the role and ensure these are delivered on time.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience with managing the software development of complex and critical platforms.

  • Proficient with full stack technology capabilities (Java, Spring Frameworks, JavaScript and associated frameworks)

  • Expertise with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.) and micro-services architectures (server and front-end)

  • Knowledgeable with database technologies – both relational and document (NoSQL) based storage.

  • Experience with various messaging-based technologies – JMS, Kafka, MQ, etc.

  • Experience designing reference architectures and conformance to enterprise blueprints.

  • Experience building and managing high-performing technology teams.

  • Experience with leading a development group and ability to guide the team on sound architecture and design principles along with delivering a quality software.

  • Ability to perform code reviews (Back-end Java) to ensure the code hygiene.

  • Detail oriented and ability to collaborate with various partner teams on project delivery.

  • Proficient with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.

  • Knowledge/experience with Treasury business and Liquidities preferable, but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
