Genesis Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the design and support of data integration between Finance and Risk platforms.  This includes models developed in support of a global data warehouse and reporting databases as well as transactional databases for use by Finance, Enterprise Risk and Compliance across all lines of business. Analyst will be responsible for all deliverables associated with the models, including source to target mappings and data consumption.  Analyst will also support development, testing, and production of the data warehouse as part of the Data Consumption team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop transformation logic to support the data consumption requirements
• Assess the quality of data during development and test phases of the projects, and own the resolution of the data quality issues by working with development teams
• Work with technology/business teams to provide standards based solution
• Develop or enhance standards for logical and physical model development. 
• Develop mappings of sources to target databases, including documentation of transformation rules.
• Communicate regularly with architects and modelers working in parallel tracks to maintain consistency of models and other deliverables.
• Oversee the development of scripts to correct bad data or to implement data model changes as required.

Knowledge / Skills Required

• 6+ years of data analysis experience
• 6+ years experience building large Data Warehouses (30+ TB) and back-office systems.
• 5+ years RDBMS experience: Netezza, Teradata, and Oracle preferred.
• 3+ years experience in implementing Financial GL and sub-ledger systems.
• Past experience with banking products such as deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, etc.
• Past experience preferred with Basel RWA/EAD calculations
• Domain knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and/or Regulatory Reporting in the Banking industry.
• Ability to write complex SQL needed to investigate data issues, repair damaged data, and migrate data to new structures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including use of Excel for presentation of data and mappings.
• Demonstrate Complete System Development Life Cycle experience for large scale complex projects with various industries.
• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
• Passion to deliver results in a complex enterprise application / environment
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
