Job Overview - Technology Risk Program Manager

We are seeking a Technology Risk Program Manager that will align to the Strategic & Emerging Risk Program within Global Functions Technology Risk and Control. The Technology Risk Program Manager is responsible for executing transformation initiatives centered on cultural change, operating models, controls framework and remediation efforts. The Global Program Manager will provide end to end oversight and management of key GFT transformation initiatives. These initiatives will be centered on cultural change, operating models, controls framework and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the development and management of organizational change projects and programs, this includes both long-term projects and well as targeted efforts in organizational change and soft-skill components,

  • Resolve complex problems, perform data analysis, and organizational assessments, identify impacts/gaps, develop well founded solutions, demonstrating good analytical and change skills.

  • Manage all aspects of project and program implementation, develop all project artifacts, plan development, deliverables tracking, progress reporting, identify and communicate project risks, define mitigation strategies, manage resolutions/escalations, meet key sign off criteria.

  • Delivers and executes strong communication plans across the organization, managing varied stakeholders.

  • Identifies key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.

  • Ensure that deliveries from work streams/projects meets requirements and are of appropriate quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with project plan and governance.

  • Create key management presentations for various audiences that articulate our strategic initiatives and accomplishments.

  • This role reports to the GFT Strategic & Emerging Risk Director.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years overseeing, developing and implementing transformation programs and projects.

  • 5+ year working in financial services.

  • 5+ year working on high level regulatory / compliance technology and process projects.

  • Advanced project management and execution skills

  • Excellent analytical, change and transformation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization.

  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical actions.

  • Excellent time management, follow-through.

  • PMP required, Six Sigma a plus.

  • Advanced competency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project Management software is required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; Advanced degree preferred
