Citibank, N.A seeks an Applications Support Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Provide technical oversight across multiple systems used by the ISG business (Information Services Group). Responsible for providing technical expertise on areas that involve messaging, optimizing message latency, and building resiliency into the messaging software. Utilize experience with technologies like Solace and Tibco EMS to drive process improvements and architectural design for the messaging platform. Manage system outages, conduct deep dive investigations on root cause of issues, and find the appropriate solutions to increase the stability of the platform. Utilize experience in the areas of incident and problem management to achieve the desired outcome. Engage different teams at Citi to help engage the correct focus on the production issues for quicker resolution. Ensure production changes are correctly managed and risk and controls are introduced to minimize negative impact of changes to the existing systems. Conduct change process management via change control systems used at Citi to deliver stable changes to the production environment. Work with large infrastructure groups to provide a unique ability to be able to solution complex problems spanning multiple groups. Develop monitoring tools/solution for use in Citi’s transformation for SRE based observability and manual effort reduction. Deliver monitoring optimization when new components are introduced to the environment. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the Information Technology services industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Designing and configuring multicast middleware system for low latency networks using ultra messaging suite of products including Ultra Messaging for Enterprise and Ultra Messaging for Persistence; Designing fault tolerant high availability systems for maximum resiliency and low latency performance using products including Tibco EMS, Solace PubSub and Kafka; Utilizing industry standard methodologies including Performance, Functionality and Security testing of the firmware for hardware-based messaging products; Designing global low latency messaging solutions and systems with built in high resiliency and ability to retain messages in the event of failure; Coordinating the execution and documentation of annual/quarterly COB tests to ensure each application successfully tests on every COB cycle, according to regulatory requirements; Developing and monitoring an observability platform for measuring SRE measurable statistics using technology including Geneos ITRs, Appdynamics, and Grafana; Deploying message broker version upgrades following the SDLC cycle including automation of deployments using Harness, Lightspeed and IBM UrbanCode Deploy; and Conducting Risk and Compliance review and driving manual touch reduction for high operational risk events through automation tools. 40 hrs./wk.
