The VP, Lending Marketing Strategy Lead owns marketing strategy for Citi’s on-card transaction installment lending program: Citi Flex Pay.  Functions of the role include partnering cross-functionally and to shape the omni-channel marketing strategy as well as drive new initiatives to maximize customer experience and deliver on financials (Sales, ANR and Revenue) goals. This role represents a unique opportunity for the individual to directly influence and shape core creative positioning, define the customer journey, and influence digital strategy as well as acquiring lending and credit card portfolio management experience along the way.

Key Responsibilities

 The VP, Lending Marketing Strategy Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Building out creative & digital strategy for Flex Pay to drive customer engagement and deliver on key financial commitments
  • Maintain and define creative/digital roadmaps end-to-end, including execution, reporting, and optimization
  • Own reporting of campaigns and marketing metrics to leadership and broader organization
  • Partner externally as well as internally with Digital, Decision Management, Risk, Lending Product, Card Product and Finance to assess performance of recent tests, identify new champion strategies, and make roll-out decisions in a timely and disciplined manner     
  • Partner with channel & digital teams to ensure consistent and relevant value proposition for the product, based on customer needs and behaviors
  • Auditing key steps of campaign processes to ensure flawless execution
  • Partner with Lending stakeholders and oversee customer research and ensure insights are used to inform creative & digital strategy

Business and Technical Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience working in financial services (preferable), retail and/or consumer goods marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Marketing or Marketing Management
  • Marketer with a strong data and results orientation
  • Strong customer focus and achievement in applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and approach to realize marketplace potential and meet financial goals
  • Experience in digital marketing (search, display, content, etc.) preferred
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies by strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Tableau a plus
